 A full range of family planning services including coils; caps and implanon are available at Lorn Medical Centre and Connel Surgery.

A general health check are available as follows:

NHS Health check

• aged 40-74 (no other conditions, every 5 years)
• all pateints on medication will be reviewed annually by the GP ( you will be invited for an appointment if required)
• Well Woman
• Well Man
• aged 75 and over (who has not seen a GP in the last year)

General checks will be carried out as follows:

Blood pressure, blood tests (as appropriate), Height and Weight, Lifestyle advice.

If you're planning to travel outside the UK, you may need to be vaccinated against some of the serious diseases found in other parts of the world. You will have to contact a travel vaccine centre.
